Incorporating local artists and musicians into our brand has always been an integral part of our work and this week, we have the Upstate's Fernwood Rising. Band members Taylor Miller, Laura-Clare Thevenet, and Bob Donnan birthed Fernwood Rising as a Southern Folk trio. Starting off as two separate duos (Miller & Donnan, Miller & Thevenet), the three tested the waters and immediately noticed the harmonic and smooth chemistry between them. From nostalgic folk rock to sweet country melodies, this group is nothing short of soulful, honest, and authentic artistry.

Featuring our Lyman acoustic and our Tyma collaboration, Fernwood Rising serenaded us with "Vice" by Miranda Lambert. You can find Fernwood Rising on Instagram and on Facebook !

Jacob Hammett has been a part of the Lyman Guitar family since 2018 and began taking lessons with our very own Jesse Smith at the age of 15. For 13 years, Jacob used his love for music to educate, as well as share his amazing talent with everyone around him. Throughout these years, he's been influenced by progressive rock/metal and bands such as Monuments and Pantera. We asked Jacob to play our Lyman LS-300 and boy, he did not disappoint.

If you would like to take lessons with Jacob or just want to say 'hello', you can visit our store at 200 Spartanburg Hwy, Lyman, SC 29365. There's a Lyman guitar waiting for you too!

Check out Jacob absolutely killing it below!

Building relationships with our customers has always been a big priority for us. Darrin Jackson is a local musician here in South Carolina who has supported Lyman Guitar Co. for many years now. He is an excellent musician who we had the honor and pleasure of having demo one of our new LT-300H. The LT-300H now features a smaller body, extended cutaway, and a contoured heel. This beautiful photo flame top is an absolute stunner under stage lights! Darrin is seen below playing the LT-300 in Maroon Fire.

We collaborated on a video with Darrin showing off some killer clean tones. You can find Darrin at thedarrinjacksonencounter.com and book him at thedarrinjacksonencounter@gmail.com! What a talent!
